Whose name is not appearing in THIS little gem?

I think we all know how I feel about the certain unmentioned someone, but should he choose to exercise a little righteous anger towards some of those quoted I would be supportive.

Man, it's good not to be home right now.

The "good" people quoted are friends, and yes, you-know-who is working with them, but the rest of it is crap. The article makes it sound like the village board as a whole gives a shit, and most of the members don't. It is a constant fight to keep the developers from taking over and we are losing. Aaaaaaagh!

i've never really understood the whole "anti-capitalism" movement.

what's the un-employment rate like in east aurora?

The "anti-capitalism" movement is all about not letting developers turn a village with quiet streets and unique small privately-owned shops into a big stip mall with a WalMart, a bunch of little cookie-cutter franchised stores and way too much traffic to have to deal with.

And East Aurora is too small to have its own unemployment rate. But adding a bunch of Wal-Mart type minimum wage jobs so that people could work all week and still not make enough money to live wouldn't help matters.

The whole town is on the National Register for Historic Places, and YES, they need jobs, anonymous, to pay the taxes.

Well, if most of the people in East Aurora would just share with all the rest of us, none of us would need jobs.

I hate that place.

I discourage anonymity, Anonymous. Please at least give me a name to call you next time. :)

Most people in EA aren't quite THAT well off. Just well-enough-off to buy their kids too many toys. And, you know, skiing lessons.
